Drivers Training

For a glass transportation with Floatliner-Inloader semitrailers professional drivers with vast experience are required. Drivers have to know how to operate a technically advanced trailer; they are also required to prove their special driving skills. Not every driver, despite his long experience in a road transportation sector, can meet such high requirements and challenge.

Each of our drivers, notwithstanding his skills and experience in a driver’s profession, completes a 14-day advanced training program, which includes the construction, operation and servicing of Floatliner-Inloader type of semitrailers, with a special consideration of techniques used in driving a truck and a semitrailer for glass transportation.

A basic training course for drivers in advanced driving techniques finishes with a theoretical and practical examination. The drivers with a minimum 3-year experience in driving, supported by required certificates, can join a training program.
